PROGRAMS

The health awareness programs largely focus on educating young people within the community, particularly those children whom reside in local shelters or are from impoverished families.    For the majority of disadvantaged families living in poverty means simply living from day to day. Planning and saving for events ahead is not an option, thus when a crisis occurs these families are the worst affected. Families in poverty struggle to afford even the basic needs, when faced with situations such as a job loss, cold weather, floods and medical needs, they are unable to support themselves and are often driven to extreme circumstances.
